MONTHLY PAYMENT SCHEDULE
1- Every student must carry this Almanac to school every day and use it productively.
2- Uniform is compulsory during school hours and for all school functions including all the places where students are representing the school outside.
3- The students must come to school clean, well groomed and in proper uniform
4- Non-Sikh boys should get their haircut at regular intervals and ensure that it remains combed and tidy.
5 - Bullying and use of foul language are punishable offences, whether in or out of the school. Students found using the same will be expelled.
6 - Students are not allowed to bring any sharp instruments, such as blades, knives, paper scalpels, scissors etc., to school.
7- Students are not allowed to bring Non-vegetarian food and any kinds of drinks except drinking water.
8- Damaging or disfiguring any school property may result in extracharges or even expulsion from school.
9- Students are prohibited from bringing any reference books, CD or other storage devices like floppies, Pen drives or I-pods.
10- Bringing money to school is not allowed.
11- Bringing mobile phones, cameras, expensive pens/ pencils/ pencil box, etc. to school is strictly forbidden.
12- Students must bring all the books, notebooks and necessary stationery to school.
13- All the books and notebooks must be bound with brown school cover and named.
14- Students must keep the school, classrooms and surrounding neat and clean.
15- 75% attendance is compulsory for the students to attend the S.A.s.
16 An application should be sent to the class teacher duly signed by parents before taking leaves.
17- The students must take care of the badges given to them.
18- Students using any unfair means during an examination will not be allowed to give exams.
19- The students returning to schools after suffering from a contagious or infectious disease must produce a fitness certificate from a doctor.
20- Celebrating festivals with crackers and colours in school or in school bus is prohibited.
21- The school is committed to protect the environment and expects its students to be environment friendly in all their actions.
22- The use of polybags (Plastic bags) is therefore, strictly prohibited in the school and students should consciously avoid their use for any purpose.
23- Students are not allowed to celebrate their birthday or any other occasion in school with cakes, snacks and cold drinks.
24- Girls are not allowed to apply henna on their hands.
They are not allowed to wear fancy earrings or rings on fingers or nose rings.
25- However, one pair of small ear studs and nose studs is permitted.
26- Students are not allowed to wear any bracelet.
27- Girls with long hair must plait their hair. Hair – band and ribbons are parts of uniform and it must be worn by all girl students in school campus, inside bus and outside school campus while representing the school.
28- Colouring or bleaching of hair is not permitted.
29- Students from Class- 4th onwards are permitted to wear simple watches.
30- No student has the permission to come to school on self-driven two/ four wheelers except bicycle.
31- Students below Class- 5th are not allowed to bring their bicycles.
32- The school reserves the right to terminate the continuance of students with unsatisfactory progress in studies or whose conduct is a bad example for others.
33- However the final decision lies with the Principal.
34- Leaves will not be granted for the following reasons:-
a) Doctor’s appointment.
b) Death in the family (more than one day).
c) Religious occasions.
d) Marriage functions.
e) Parties.
f) Family vacations.
35- Parents must inform the school when they send someone else to pick their child.
Half day leaves are not allowed except for medical reasons.
Note:-
1) The rules can be changed without giving a notice.
2) The ultimate power rests in the hands of the Principal.
RULES FOR ASSESSMENT
1- 75% Attendance is compulsory for all assessments held during the year, failing which the student will be given a zero. Consideration whatsoever will be only on genuine medical grounds that too at the sole discretion of the Principal. There is no provision of appearing in FA and then leave the school for home on personal grounds.
2- There is no provision for reassessing students, who remain absent on the day of the assessment, or those who have failed in one or more subjects. Request for change in assessment dates or timings will not be entertained.
3- Students reporting late for assessment will not be given any extra time for answering the question papers.
4- Unfair Means: Students found using any unfair means during any of the assessment, will be given a zero in that subject. Parents and the concerned student will be summoned and asked to provide an explanation. A repeat of such an action in future will result in the prompt issue of a Transfer Certificate, without notice.
5- The answer scripts will be shown to students after evaluation within 6 days of the date of the examination and will be shown to the parents in the P.T.M.s only.
6- The result of FAs and SAs will be shown to the parents only in the meetings and not in the office later. The parents are requested to attend the meetings compulsorily.
7- The result shall always be shown to the parents and not to any other person
8- Requests for the issue of Progress Report before the declaration of results will not be entertained
9- A duplicate of Report Card (if lost/ damaged) shall be issued on payment of Rs. 50/-
10- Promotion Criteria (Classes I onwards): Attendance less than 75% and not able to cope up with the syllabus resulting in low grades in assessments of a particular class in a session may result in detention in the same class, after mutual consent of parents and school authorities.
SCHOOL UNIFORM RULES:
1- Students must wear their uniforms properly and ensure that they
look neat and presentable at all times.
2- A student must always come to school in uniform, also during the practical
and special classes.
3- No student is allowed to attend any Open House, school function in or
outside the school in any dress other than school uniform.
4- Girls are required to wear hair bands and ribbons, both inside the campus as
well when they go out to represent the school. Failure to follow the rule will
result in issue of yellow card.
5- The length of skirts has to be 2” below the knee.
6- The length of shorts has to be 1” above the knee.
7- Sikh boys must wear green or white – coloured patkas.
8- Non – Compliance of rules given above will result in issuance of black marks
and repeated offence will result in suspension for a week.

Absence from School
1- No student who has been absent on the previous day will be allowed
to attend class unless her/ his parent has entered an explanation stating
the reasons for the absence, in the ‘Record of Non-Attendance’
section of the almanac, for each day the student has been absent from
school.
2- There is no provision for half day leave, except in cases of extreme emergency with the permission of the Principal. So students who are
not well should not be sent to school even on exam/ test days. Further, appointments with Doctors etc. must not be arranged during school
hours.
3- Students suffering from the following diseases must observe the
prescribed period of quarantine before returning to school:

4- Parents are requested to co-operate with the school and not send their
children till the quarantine period is over.
5- In case of absence of more than three days on Medical Grounds,
Medical Certificate and Prescription shall be attached along with the application on return of the student to the school after such leave.
6- Parents will be promptly informed in the event of serious illness or emergencies and may be requested to come to school to take their ward
home, if necessary.
7- Repeated absence without notice or unexplained absence, without
written application for more than five consecutive working days renders
the student liable to have her/ his name struck off the rolls.
8- Re-admission may only be granted after payment of a re-admission fee.
9- All students are expected to attend school on the opening day
immediately following the vacations. Absence on the day of reopening
of the school will result in strict disciplinary action.
10- It is compulsory for students to have 75% attendance in each term in
order to be eligible to take the end – of – term assessment.
11- This stipulation can only be relaxed on genuine medical grounds, at the
sole discretion of the Principal.
12- Absence for more than 10% of total number of working days may result
in strict disciplinary action. On medical grounds too, a student cannot
remain absent for more than 20% of total working days.
Late Arrival In School
1- Students are expected to reach school 10 minutes before the start of the school. Students arriving late will not be allowed to attend classes on
second such occurrence and disciplinary action shall be taken against
them.
